Espressif Systems is looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales Manager to establish and lead our sales operations in Japan and more markets in plan. This role is critical in expanding our market presence, managing key customer relationships, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, strong sales and negotiation skills, and experience working with customers in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth in Japan.
- Identify and engage with potential customers, partners, and distributors.
- Manage relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and business retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product and engineering teams, to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Lead contract negotiations with key accounts.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Represent Espressif at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the semiconductor or embedded systems industry.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese electronics market and customer ecosystem.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to work independently and build a sales team in the region.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with semiconductor SoCs, IoT, or wireless connectivity solutions.
- Established network with key industry players in Japan.
- Strong technical understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
